Swimming class.

daddy just came into the room and you asked him, daddy "is a time for swimming class?" he responded "there are no more swimming classes" and you immediately ran around to the other side of the bed and cried in my arms, big tears that you were so sad. "Daddy says swim classes are ober!!!!" You cried.
You are a water baby :) and I love you!
I guess we'll be investing in swim classes on the regular :)

Glad they weren't mine....

I'm so glad these weren't mine...though my sweet Maya is responsible for two of my own pair meeting their demise.
This was precious though.
I love sharing your feist. The world must know that Maya Narae is who she is, and she should never change because we need that.
You teach me to love fiercely, to be passionate, to push limits and establish my own boundaries. You teach me to learn, baby. Even when your passion and fire is overwhelming, it's teaching me and I'm teaching you baby. Thank you for challenging me; I know I am growing, because of you.

Maya and teddy hippo

A message I sent to daddy,  on mothers day :)
Middle of the night scuffle with Maya Narae, she calms down, I move her in bed with me and run to the car for Teddy Hippo. I nuzzle him close to her face. She sleepily exclaims, eyes still closed and pulling him close to her: "teddy hippo! So happy to see you big boy. Glad to see you big boy. Go to sleep, sleepy big boy." Then falls asleep.

We are doing something right, babe.
Thank you for all of the mothers days. And for giving these babies to me.
