God siblings

Here are some pictures of a couple of your GodSiblings. they LOVE you. they FIGHT over you. they ADORE you. 

and we are SO lucky to have them. they are moving back soon and I am so excited to spend a lot of time with them.

You can absolutely do anything that you have a desire to do. You climb you laugh you run you gallop you sing you dance. you do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING and you try hard. there is a quote that i LOVE for my life and you remind me of it and vice versa every time: 

“The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes "Awww!”

You are mad to live, mad to talk desirous of everything. you never yawn and nothing about you is commonplace. 

you are going to do amazing things like climbing Mt. Everest or becoming a doctor, or traveling around the world. I have this feeling you will be the sweetest most biggest heart ever, but youll be very excitable and enthusiastic and probably do a lot of things that scare the living daylights out of me. 

but you know what, as long as you are safe, and you are passionaste and responsible and loving and kind...and safe. and safe. and safe, i will be ever so happy.

Up late

Some nights my overwhelming love for you keeps me up with overwhelming fear.  You make me whole and I will do everything I can to protect you,  to make you happy.  I love you babies. So so much.

14.5 months!

Just wanted to give a little update! I was just up late with a tummy ache and reading up on brothers old entries from when HE was 14 months. it made me realize I hadnt posted an update on YOU in awhile. SO its time!

you do well with sign and will learn more as time goes on and mumma studies it. i LOVE it. and you love communicating! right now you struggle with using your left hand as your signing plane as opposed to your chest and body like true ASL but youre learning! its awesome to see. 

Things you can do:

Peekaboo if we ask "Wheres Maya?"

play chase if we run after you

throw a ball or other item. 

you LOVE to draw. you will scribble on anything. ALL THE TIME. if i let you :)

when we say "singing" you say "laaalaaalaaaaayaaalaa"

when we say dancing you dance with your booty. 

you LOVE to take things out of baskets or off of shelves and onto the floor. youre "helping" you think. 

you climb onto everything. IF i am not careful you can climb up the couches, onto beds, on chairs. anything. you try to climb EVERYTHING. 

When we say "cuddling" you lay down on us with your head nestled. so cute!

when we ask "wheres your tummy" or "hair" "nose" "mouth" "chompers" "feet" you will touch them :) you are gonna be a smart one!

since BIRTH, and maybe even sometimes in utero, you go so so so calm when you hear "I Wont Give Up" by Jason Mraz

you, as i describe to everyone, are a firecracker little girl, a feisty and wily spitfire of a little lady and i LOVE you. you give me great joy, a challenge, and a true true best friend in the making. ill always be your mommy and always admire you, your spirit and strong will and determination. youre fearless and daring and beautiful to boot. youre just amazing already!

i will always warn you for safety and keep you tender at heart and safe from harm. but youre always my little girl, just the way you are!
