you are so curious, and so GUTSY. you climb up on tables, chairs, anything if you have even a second to yourself. you want to be a part of any and everything and i love trhat about you. it also scares me as your mother, but im excited to teach yuou how to embrace that desirous heart and cultivate love and excitement with it. i love you baby girl. :)

(just a note in case i ever forgot to mention it. you had another name picked out, you did. one that i LOVED. until daddy mentioned another. "how about Maya?" he said and immediately I thought of the amazing Maya Angelou. it fit. i felt your soul. you were going to be amazing, timeless, classy and classic and one of the most amazing and influencial people in my life.
